Overview

About Legacy Sports Foundation

A sports fee, a uniform, or the right pair of athletic shoes can determine whether a young person gets to participate. In Killeen and across Central Texas, Legacy Sports Foundation helps families facing those financial barriers while giving youth access to mentorship, leadership development, and college and career preparation. More than 50 youth athletes have been served by 2025, with more than 100 volunteer hours invested annually.

Legacy Sports Foundation grew from a volleyball club and keeps financial access at the center of its work, including support for military-connected youth in Central Texas. Its programs connect sports participation with mentorship, leadership skills, and practical preparation for life after high school.
