Overview

About Missoula Area Youth Hockey Assn

At Glacier Ice Rink, kids as young as 4 can learn to play hockey, adults can join leagues and tournaments, and families can show up for public skate or themed community sessions. The rink also opens its doors to school groups, nonprofit partners, and outside user groups, which gives the whole place a steady rhythm of everyday recreation and community use. Donors help keep that access wider, including financial assistance for people who need help paying for public programs and memberships.

What stands out here is how much is happening under one roof, without losing the sense that the rink is for the whole community. Youth hockey, adult play, public sessions, school programming, and free sled hockey clinics all run alongside a financial assistance program designed to lower the barrier to entry.
